My son JJ has been at Indian Springs the last two summers and is going this upcoming summer. The owners of the camp have gone above and beyond for my family in more ways than one and my son loves going each day. The staff are amazing and the counselors really got to know my son and he was welcomed everyday. We stumbled across Indian Springs very randomly and I am so glad we did. It was a true hidden gem! JJ looks forward to going back each summer ! Thank You Indian Springs for giving JJ the most amazing memories!
I have been at Indian Springs day camp since I was 3 years old. This is my 11th summer at this camp and my first summer working as a Junior Counselor. Some of my fondest memories from my days as a camper are learning how to swim, Arts and Crafts and learning how to fish. Summers would have never been the same without Indian Springs. There is really no other place I would want to spend my summers!
Our boys have been attending Indian Springs Day Camp for over 10 years and absolutely love it! We have 2 boys who started the camp when they were 5 years old and now they work at the camp! We love the convenience of the before and after program when they were little, then utilized the transportation option until they can drive themselves there now. If you have active boys who love sports and bonding then this is the place for you. My boys enjoyed the Honeydew and Watermelon intercamp Sports league of friendly competition and look forward to trying to win their team a trophy every year. They also have formed wonderful friendships as they got older and hang out with fellow campers outside of camp. We also love the access to a lake and pool and your child will definitely learn how to swim by the end of the summer. Indian Springs is a unique camp where it feels like an overnight type of camp in a day camp schedule. My boys have had an awesome experience where they look forward to going to camp every summer and never want to leave!
Indian Springs Day Camp is family away from family. Our family has been involved with Indian Springs for 30+ years. Starting back when we were kids and our parents were counselors. The staff and counselors are 2nd to none. Our kids now are attending and love every second. They get everything you want from a camp…if you have a kid who is more into nature, technology, and the arts, they have it. If you have a kid who is more into sports, they have it…it's such a well rounded camp. Our kids learned to swim and be confident in the water from Indian Springs. Can't say enough positive things…we're lifers.
Our daughters (ages 9 and 6) have each spent several summers at Indian Springs and they LOVE IT. They talk about camp all year and cannot wait to return each summer. Both girls are now strong swimmers, and we appreciate that swimming is a major emphasis at Indian Springs. They also love horseback riding, arts and crafts, fishing, and so many other great activities. Both girls have met lots of friends at camp. Indian Springs is a unique and special summer camp.
